HANDMADE FROM ALPACA SILVER - GREEK KEY
* Various claims have been made for what a Greek key means. There may be a connection with the labyrinth where Theseus fought the Minotaur. A Greek bowl in the British museum shows Theseus dragging the Minotaur from the labyrinth, which is indicated by a Greek key frieze. You can make a Cretan or classical maze using a Greek key, and many mazes have Greek keys embedded in a design, especially Roman mazes.
* Other suggested meanings are stylized waves, snakes, symbolizing the bonds of love, friendship and devotion,
eternal life, the four cardinal points, the meander of life, creative
energy, the four seasons, etc
* This ring has been handmade from highest quality Alpaca Silver. Alpaca Silver, also known as White Copper was discovered in the 18th century. In 1823 a competition was initiated in creating an alloy that possessed the closest visual similarity to silver. The brothers Henniger in Berlin and A. Geitner in Schneeberg won the competition by creating "white metal" which until now is used in jewellery, cutlery and coins for its corrosion resistance. Nickel-free composite - will not cause allergies!
* Handmade ring with perfectly polished surface and slightly oxydised carvings to show texture
